Why Noctaalytiq?
It started with the moon.
There's something about the night sky that changes the way you see things. In daylight, everything is obvious — loud, surface-level, competing for attention. But at night, the noise fades. Patterns emerge. The stars reveal a map that was always there, just invisible under the glare.
That's the idea behind Noctaalytiq.
The name comes from "nocturnal" — relating to the night, to what operates unseen — fused with "analytics," the science of finding meaning in data. Together, they capture what we do: we look where others don't. We find the signals buried in the noise. We illuminate what daylight hides.
Founded by Narmatha Jayasankar during her time at the University of Edinburgh, Noctaalytiq Insights was born from a simple observation — most businesses are sitting on goldmines of data, but they're navigating in the dark. Not because the answers don't exist, but because no one has pointed the right telescope at them yet.

Narmatha's path to founding Noctaalytiq Insights began in Edinburgh, where she pursued her Master's degree surrounded by one of Europe's most vibrant tech and data science ecosystems. It was there that two things crystallised — a deep belief that data, when read correctly, tells stories that transform businesses, and a fascination with the unseen patterns that most people overlook.
Before Noctaalytiq, she worked across data analytics, digital strategy, and technology consulting — building the cross-disciplinary skill set that now defines the company's approach. She doesn't believe in siloed solutions. A website without data behind it is decoration. Analytics without action is trivia. Marketing without measurement is guesswork.
Noctaalytiq was built to be the bridge between all of it — the single partner that connects your data, your technology, and your growth into one coherent strategy.
